Ankle Strap Heels

I LOVE the thin ankle strap heel trend for summer! We were definitely seeing this last year, but it’s another case of a trend finally hitting the mass market a year later. I feel like I’m seeing the thin, ankle strap everywhere and paired with nearly every outfit! And, I’m not complaining! Heels are always in fashion, I cannot envision a version of the world where this is not the case. It’s such a sleek look and my personal taste is for modern, clean lines. We’re even seeing it done in various colors for summer. Great inspiration for summer! I’m particularly a fan of the heels paired with a great skinny pant, maybe cuffed up slightly to acknowledge the hot temps and worn with a loose, silk tank. Now to what really matters! Where can we buy this trend for ourselves? There are great options for both high and low price points. I’ve seen some surprisingly great heels at target, with color blocking detailing. Also noticing some mid-price options at Zara. And of course, completely dying over the heels YSL has out this season. But, as Alexander McQueen most brilliantly explained, “It’s a new era in fashion – there are no rules.
