There are a few fashion essentials that you really can’t make it through the summer without. At some point, you’ll find yourself headed to the beach for a quick day trip or spending the evening out for drinks or on a date. These are the 3 must-have summer style items that I think you’ll be grateful to have in your closet for last minute summer events!
1. The “Little White Dress” – We all know how crucial it is to have a staple LBD (Little Black Dress) in our closet for a moment’s-notice event. I LOVE this pair from Rainbow because they are so simple and neutral yet the one-sided braided thong is such a stylized detail. I pair these with literally everything – dresses, shorts, beach coverups, skinny white jeans. They are just the PERFECT summer sandal.
3. A Statement Bikini – Whether you’re heading to a pool party, beach trip, or lounging outside to catch some rays, it’s so great to have one statement bikini. Whether you choose to buy a thong bikini bottom or a one-piece swimsuit, find one that you love and wear it whenever you get a chance! I fell in love with this first swimsuit from Chloe. The white color pops against a pretty tan and the gold scalloped hem is so chic right now. Of course, it’s completely sold out (although I’m sure you could track this gem down on ebay or something if you’re really determined).
However, the bathing suits by Mara Hoffman are also so fantastic. They’re bright, patterned and fun for summer without being the least bit gaudy or tacky. The prints are a bit indie and cool in my opinion and just so perfect for this year.
