Dressing Cute while Comfy Casual

During the summer, it’s ultra-important to dress as comfortable as possible to cope with the hot temps and humid air. Nothing feels quite as freeing as switching into a comfy pair of shorts and sandals after a long, stuffy day in the office. But if you’re like me, looking as cute as possible during these more relaxed summer afternoons is still the goal.

Printed shorts, silk pants, flowy dresses, and high waisted skirts are typically my go-to options when dressing for a chill afternoon. They’re each comfortable and stylish in their own right. However when the weather is really wretched – as it tends to get in the humid East Coast – I love nothing more than a pair of basic denim shorts and a relaxed tee. It can really be styled to look like the ultimate comfy & casual summer outfit.
