I absolutely need to stop by Forever 21 sometime soon to pick up all the great items they have in stock right now for the Fall 2013 season. I’ve compiled a roundup below of some of my favorites and sorted by trend so I don’t end up with multiple pieces for each trend. It’s definitely important in my opinion to keep my wardrobe updated according to the season and the style vibes of the moment. However, they’re called “trends” for a reason – not here to stay, and not worth investing in several pieces that aren’t going to transcend the times.
Favorite Fall Floral –
Love this top because it uses fall-appropriate colors to update the floral print so it’s not a summer-only trend. The body-con silhouette of this top would be perfect for layering with a thin cardi this fall.
Favorite Utility Jacket –
An army green jacket is a staple every year in my fall wardrobe. I love that this one has been updated to reflect the current leather accenting trend. It looks really sophisticated and could totally see throwing this on for a fun night out to an indie concert or something along those lines. 
Favorite Drop Waist Dress for Fall –
Drop waist dresses are popping up everywhere – especially with this peplum style hemline. Love this dress for fall because of the almost fall-leaves-colored print. I wouldn’t say drop waist dresses are the most flattering cut on me but I’d really love to give this look another try and this would be the perfect fall dress for that. 
Favorite Minimalist Top –
The black and white trend is definitely going to be my obsession for Fall and Winter this year. I LOVE, love, love this simple top. It is beyond chic and perfect to pair with so many bottoms. I also adore how they’ve styled it with this monochrome, spiked, statement necklace here. Perfection. 
Favorite Faux Leather Leggings –
Years ago we might have been pretty appalled by anyone who wore FAKE leather pants. Like, what?! But they’re very in this season and would be a great staple pant to have especially in a great neutral color like black. Easy to layer with any top, sweater, blazer, etc. 
Favorite Tee Shirt –
OMG this is the BEST find ever. A #OOTD – Outfit of the Day – shirt could not be more appropriate for a style blogger. I absolutely despise taking “selfies” and posting pictures of my self all over social media. But I know it’s a great way to interact with all of you and provide some insight into my personal, everyday style. So I love that this tee shirt pokes a little fun at that. You have to be able to laugh at yourself once in a while!!!
