Although it was a miserably rainy weekend, I felt quite productive spending time with good friends, working, writing, and of course some shopping. No matter how hard I try, the will power to avoid a good sale just isn’t there! Both J. Crew Factory and LOFT were having solid sales this weekend — 50% off at J. I’ve been dying to find the perfect pair of scallop hem shorts! They were a huge trend last summer and still seeing a lot of this year as well. Chambray is another huge trend that seems to be here for the long haul. This lightweight chambray tunic will be the perfect beach cover-up. And since it even has a crisp collar, I could definitely see pairing this with a pair of white skinny jeans and a tan heeled-sandal for a breezy weekend look. And of course, can’t go wrong with purchasing a new pair of Rainbow Sandals. I’m such a fan of the brand and I still love to wear their Leather “Flirty” Braided Flip Flops that I purchased last year. So long lasting and the cutest beach accessory!
